Top 20 NYC Public High Schools with Girls Basketball Teams, Ranked by College Readiness Rates

The schools listed below have Varsity Girls Basketball programs according to the PSAL website (always confirm the availability of any sports program directly with a school).  They are ranked below by college readiness rates, from highest to lowest.  By the Department of Education’s definition, to be college ready, students must have graduated with a Regents Diploma and have earned a 75 on their math and English regents, a 480 on each section of the SAT, or passed CUNY’s placement exams.  This list is not an endorsement of any school.
